I turned 64 this year. Lo and behold I am not a Baby Boomer but rather a Generation Jones....there's a Song about that...and then along came Jones.

This is gorgeous Vicki. I so love soaking in the wise words of women a few steps ahead of me on the path, shining the light, and letting me know what's possible down the road. I'm so hungry for crone role models. Thanks for sharing your experiences ❤️ From another Vicki 😘

Amen! I'm so hungry for crone role models too.

My favourite reading on Substack is of those souls a decade or more ahead on this enthralling road.

Wise words without bullshit.

Reading this, I am struck by how much learning and reading there is left to do at 65. I'm sure I'll feel the same--or perhaps more so, if I've learned enough to know how much left there is to do--in 15 years. Thank you for standing as a proud example, Vicki!

As someone who has just entered the foothills of her 60's, your words as an Elder on the cusp of 80 bring me so much joy. I love the way that you are real about the challenges that come with age and how you've met them, as well as the deepening, enriching process of having lived so many years. I too am a big fan of Joanna Macy, and I need to seek out your interview with her - you two at the same time, what a treat! Thank you for being one of my nomo (not-mother) Elderwomen role models. Deep bow and big hug, Jody x
