In my neck of the woods, Canada, we are just trying to survive a threat we never saw coming. Being stabbed in the back by your

"friend" is an unpleasant surprise to say the least. We will not travel to the United States, we will buy only Canadian made or non-US made products, and unfortunately the US has become the opposite of our ally.

Amy this assault is so distressing. rest assured that there are millions who are seeking ways to stop this never before threat to our nation. so far,he's getting away with so much of it. he's teflon. and has his minions by the cojones. deep apologies from your friend just 100 miles south of the border.

Thank you Vicki, I know it’s not the American people, it’s the administration.

I live in the UK and watch in horror what is happening in the US. Apart from very few voices on the far left no one talks about relocalization on the British small island despite all the damage Brexit caused. More damage is coming as the current government is going to cut benefits for ppl.on disability benefits my instinct is tellingme this is just the start. I fear that whatever US does UK is going to imitate. Good to see so many ppl.resisting and maybe DT presidency is what the world needed to wake up. Hopefully the UK will also imitate the grassroot resistance and sustainable growth.

Thanks for this, Vicki. We too have been aware that relocalization is the answer since the old Peak Oil and Transition Town era but so far things haven't really had the urgent action they deserve. Until, as you say, the DT calamity. Now we need to get serious and develop a detailed, practical and do-able ecoresilience protocol for local survival that can be used by people in many places. So glad you're leading us forward!

This is terrific! Thanks for doing a journal on it Langley and Transition Town has always stayed with me and I've thought of that for where I am although very contentious community and the old hierarchy of getting things done. Is someone filming the brown bag lunch meeting coming up that would be so educational to capture! Let us know
